Momento Hospitality’s multi-level pub has long been in the works. But now the expansive pub, bistro, garden terrace and rooftop bar is finally here; The Governor has just opened its doors in Macquarie Park, a multi-purpose space designed for the diverse community in which it lives, offering spaces to eat, drink and socialise for groups of all sizes. Edith Clark designed the space in collaboration with Momento Hospitality Group. The building itself includes a 260-seat ground floor bistro and bar, as well as a separate rooftop bar catering to 200. The Governor’s ground floor is home to the spacious main bar and bistro, accented with lush greenery, dark timbers, and six intimate booths, as well as an outdoor garden terrace provides for a spot of drinking in the sun.
