The interior design for Jinja was inspired by historical Shanghai and colonial Hong Kong and Modern Beijing; as well as the streets, bars, eateries and hustle and bustle of China towns around the globe.
The intent for guests in Jinja was to feel as if they could be sipping cocktails and dumplings anywhere in the world. Oriental wallpapers wrap walls, rich chocolate parquetry flooring meets delicious botanical patterned carpet, large curved custom entry doors lead to private dining rooms and bright neon signs announce dumplings & tea stations.
The restaurant is an open plan with generous booth seating, high bar tables and low lounges for diners to settle into. With secret rooms hidden behind sliding walls and private wine rooms there are also plenty of places to retreat within this large bustling restaurant.
