The Duke of Dural is a public bar and relaxed dining venue located on an old industrial site in North-West Sydney. The design intention for this project was focused on evoking casual masculinity within a comfortable robust interior. The material palette encompasses leather, exposed brick, dark textured timber, polished concrete, steel framing and copper detailing. Ensuring there is a cohesive design the open plan bar, bistro and sports bar are mediated by transparent and translucent screening. This subtle zoning inclusion separates the raw and rustic smoke house dining experience from the exciting experience in the sports bar and the activity of the main bar.
